Hot More Humid Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Dry & Warm

It is another beautiful afternoon across the entire area with hardly a cloud in the sky however temperatures are higher today as we are in the middle to upper 80s. Humidity levels still remain subdued however though it is up slightly from the weekend. Even though Tuesday will he a hot day and also humid, the humidity levels will be no where near where they were last week. Dew points will reach the low 60s tomorrow verses the mid 70s of last week. The lower the number the less moisture in the air. Low 60s is a little uncomfortable but still relatively reasonable. A cold front will be approaching tomorrow night and there is a chance for an isolated thunderstorm but other than that, there isn’t much to worry about.

Wednesday Thursday and Friday will be very warm but seasonal for this time of here which is most highs in the 80s though it will be cooler at the shore. The humidity will be lower again Wednesday and Thursday and inching up a bit Friday but again this is not going to be anything like last week. Sunshine Wednesday and Thursday looks like a good bet and sunshine with some passing clouds for Friday.

Tropical Storm Chris continues to organize off the North Carolina coast though it is hardly moving. Chris will continue to sit overnight into Tuesday before it begins a move to the northeast and offshore. Marine conditions will be impacted and beaches could get roughed up a bit with waves and rip tides so beach goers this week should be cautious especially Wednesday and Thursday when Chris as a hurricane passes to the east.
