FATHERS DAY WEEKEND WARM HUMID DOWNPOURS
It’s a nice enough afternoon though we have clouds masking the sunshine. Temperatures inland have broken the 80 degree mark in some places away from the ocean but most temperatures are in the 70s. There are some showers on the radar well to the west and north and they should pretty much stay west of us through this evening. However the satellite loop does show clouds to the west in the Ohio Valley with an upper air disturbance and this could produce a few downpours during the early morning hours Friday.

REGIONAL RADAR
Friday it is a wind off the ocean and cloudy skies that will probably keep most temperatures in a range of 65 to 75. There will be some downpours around in the morning during the commute and then some others are likely to pop later in the day though it is a dice roll as to who gets them
FATHERS DAY WEEKEND WARM HUMID DOWNPOURS
The Fathers Day weekend turns warm and humid. My feeling on the weekend is that there will be scattered downpours around and while the risk is there some areas may not see a drop of rain. The problem is figuring out who gets them and who doesn’t since short term models keep moving things around. While the risk is there both Saturday and Sunday I think much of the time it won’t be a problem and outdoor activities are a go in my view. More numerous showers and thunderstorms are possible on Monday as a cold front approaches from the west.
The tropics look to be heating up with the chance for development in the NW Caribbean/Gulf of Mexico. Joestradamus has more on this as well as the latest video below.
