Irma Moving North Our Weather Continues Great
Irma Moving North Our Weather Continues Great
Irma continues to very slowly weaken this morning as it moves northward toward the Florida Georgia border. It is centered about 100 or so miles northwest of Tampa and will soon be downgraded to a tropical storm. Most of the activity now has shifted north of the center which is typical in this stage of the hurrIcane life cycle. Tropical Storm conditions are likely well north into Georgia today with rain and some wind. However for us it is another beautiful dry day ahead with high pressure still in control. Expect lots of sunshine with temperatures in the 70s. The moisture from Irma is going northwest into the Tennessee Valley and is not coming here.

REGIONAL RADAR
Tuesday also looks like a winner with sunshine and rather warm conditions as highs reach into the 80s. Then a weather front and a very small amount of Irma moisture brings in some clouds Wednesday and the risk for a shower or thunderstorm. Wednesday will be the only day at issue this week. Thursday and Friday look good with sunshine and highs in the 70s.
Hurricane Jose will be meandering around this week between the Bahamas & Bermuda and then looping back westward toward the Bahamas late this week. The upper air forecast is a bit complex and JOESTRADAMUS has all the latest on Jose which just won’t go away.
