Hurricane Alex Forms!!!
HURRICANE ALEX HEADING TO THE AZORES
Completely and utterly amazing that we have a hurricane with an eye in the middle of January. Hurricane Alex has top winds of 85 mph and we actually have hurricane warnings up for the Azores. This is the first time we have a pure tropical system in January since 1978 and only the 4th since 1851! From the Azores alex is headed for Greenland. My video today address this and its impact on the long range.
