Hitting Powerball or Seeing Snow…Powerball is probably easier!
It certainly feels that coming up with the winning numbers on powerball would be far easier than seeing snow around here this winter. But such is the winter of our discontent. And yes I played powerball! Hitting powerball with these forecast temperatures is my goal!

Satellite and radar loops show an upper air disturbance moving out of the Ohio Valley and headed our way tonight. This could produce a burst of snow or just a few flurries around daybreak in some areas. No more than a coating will occur. Otherwise tonght look for clouds and lows in the teens to low 20s. Once the flurries and snow showers are done look for some sunshine to develop and highs will be in the 30s to around 40. It won’t be as cold Thursday night with lows in the 20s to near 30. Friday sunshine will give way to arriving clouds with most highs in the low to mid 40s. There is the risk for some rain and wind Friday night into Saturday morning but it appears the noreaster is going to be a little further offshore which lessens the impact on our weather here. We will zero in on this Thursday.
