Weather conditions around the area at 3pm are hot and humid. It is a hot Wednesday afternoon with temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Even along coastal areas the sea breeze is not working very well as temperatures along the shore are in the 80s. There have been a few pop up isolated thunderstorms that have developed but they come and go very quickly. There is no mechanism to trigger off widespread activity this evening. The satellite loop shows a front to our north moving into Northern New England but that will have no impact on our weather.

You can see the regional and local radars aren’t showing very much. We are setting up for an even hotter Thursday with temperatures overnight dropping to the upper 60s to mid 70s. That sets up a good solid launching pad for highs Thursday in the low to mid 90s.
THURSDAY’S FORECAST HOT HIGH TEMPERATURES
Late Thursday night we could see some showers and thunderstorms as a weak disturbance moves through. Friday will be another hot and humid day with highs 90 to 95 with late day thunderstorms. Saturday will be a shade less hot and a touch less humid but still rather uncomfortable with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. A stronger front approaches late Sunday which means another hot humid day and the risk for thunderstorms. There could be a genuine break in the heat and humidity during the middle of next week.
