Cold Dry Next Few Days
Cold Dry Next Few Days
Cold dry weather is with us for the next few days as high pressure builds in behind yesterday’s strong cold front. Gusty winds will prevail today from the northwest at 20 to 30 mph or higher and temperatures won’t be doing much as they hold in the upper 30s to around 40. We will see some sunshine but there will be clouds around as an upper air trough moves on through.
US SATELLITE
The satellite picture this morning shows clouds over the Eastern Great Lakes as low pressure continues to move northeast through Southeastern Canada. Some lake effect snows are going on in parts of upstate NY but other than that the radars will be nice and quiet right into Saturday.
REGIONAL RADAR
Tonight and Thursday night will be clear and cold with lows in the mid teens to low 20s. Thursday looks nice and sunny but cold with highs in the low to mid 30s. Friday we will probably push upper 30s to lower 40s.
Saturday brings milder temperatures with some sunshine and clouds and highs reaching the upper 40s and lower 50s. Then another cold front approaches with the chance for showers Saturday night into part of Sunday with highs into the 50s before it turns colder again for the first part of next week.
