The weekend is underway and the weather will be pretty much perfect from a sky standpoint with minimal cloud cover and a good deal of sunshine. Today is the coldest of the 2 days as this quick (and sad) shot of cold air moves out almost as fast as it moved in. Highs today will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s. The satellite loop this morning shows clouds streaming southeastward from Canada but most of those if not all of the will go to our north.

Radars will be quiet into Monday. Skies will be clear tonight. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s in the coldest spots while most lows tonight will be in the 30s. Then it is back to the upper 50s to near or even over 60 on Sunday with lots of sun.
Monday looks dry but believe it or not a small low forms off the Southeast Coast and heads up the coast with a shot of rain late Monday night into Tuesday. This system is very small and almost looks like a cluster of showers in the summer time moving through.
Weather models produce 1/2 to 3/4 inch of rain out of this. Let’s see how this plays out later today.
