The story this evening is the cold air and the gusty northwest winds but this is a quick shot of cold air that is moving through. As of 8pm temperatures continue to edge lower as we head into the 20s and lower 30s by morning. Winds are still rather gusty at the moment but we should see those winds begin to drop off after midnight.
There really isn’t to much to worry about for the weekend. Temperatures Saturday will be chilly but we will see sunshine all day long as highs reach back to the upper 40s and lower 50s. The core of the cold air moves out by Sunday morning and temperatures Sunday afternoon will be back in the upper 50s to near 60.
Monday will be dry with sunshine giving way to arriving clouds. Then a weak low will develop off the southeast coast and head northward. This could bring a shot of rain here later Monday night into Tuesday but the system does not look to be a big rain producer. Overall the weather pattern remains quiet for much if not all of next week.
