Weekend Weather Looks Good
Weekend Weather Looks Good
There are no important changes in the outlook for the weekend. We have dry air coming down from the north from Southeastern Canada which will keep things cool for the weekend and into early next week. Other than patchy clouds from time to time, there are no serious weather issues ahead, probably through much of next week.
Low pressure will be developing well offshore this weekend which will reinforce the dry air over us Sunday and Monday. Sunshine and a few clouds is the outlook for both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Sunday’s highs will be mostly in the 50s.
LONG RANGE OUTLOOK LOOKING COLDER FOR SECOND HALF OF NOVEMBER
We have been talking about the pattern taking a colder turn for the second half of the month and we think this remains on course based on today’s weather models. It appears that the profile across Canada will gradually change beginning later next week. Remember that pattern changes are processes and not events. These things do take time to unfold. In the meantime no big storms are on the horizon for next week. We will probably warm back into the 60s beginning on Tuesday. We will be subject to weak fronts coming down from the north and that could impact temperatures to some degree next week.
Today’s European suggests it could get chilly next weekend if a storm develops just to our east. Other weather models are suggesting the same idea. We will watch this evolve over the weekend.
