Weekend Sunshine Temperatures Slowly Rise

The weekend is underway with sunshine and we should have a nice stretch of weather through Tuesday. There are no changes in the outlook with weather systems very slow to move. Temperatures today will respond reflexively as they do this time of year as they try to rise to the upper 50s and lower 60s. Wash rinse repeat for Sunday and Monday with highs both days inching into the 60 to 65 degree range. The only issue from time to time over the weekend will some high clouds that will blow off from the next storm system that will dropping southeast into the Gulf States. Those clouds will be patchy and will not cause any serious issues in blocking out the sun.

REGIONAL RADAR

Radars will be getting a well deserved break but we will start to see rain appear Monday night and Tuesday on the regional radar. Tuesday we will start with sunshine and then that will give way to arriving clouds. Highs will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Then low pressure moves up the coast and brings rain here on Wednesday.

GFS FORECAST WEDNESDAY APRIL 21, 2018

Weekend Sunshine Temperatures Slowly Rise

Three weather systems will be impacting our weather late next week with 2 coastal lows and a cold front to the west so it is likely that the weather will be rather unsettled for the second half of next week. Next week could be chilly again with a shot of cold air coming down out of Canada but at least we will have some sun. Below average temperatures continue all next week making this April one of the coldest we have seen in many years.
