The weekend is just about here and while the weather out side went into full early June mode this week, the real sign to me of the change to spring is Daylight Saving Time which begins Sunday. Spring Forward your clocks one hour which means later sunsets and more practical daylight for the average person.

Meanwhile the weather is attempting to normalize somewhat today but the new normal is still 10 degrees above average. A cold front moved through last night with some showers and now we see improving weather conditions today with a gusty wind and sunshine. Temperatures are still going to reach the 60s in most areas which is at least 10 degrees above the normal high. Satellite loop shows that we have some leftover clouds to chew through but we should go partly to mostly sunny before too long.

Radars a quiet today and should remain quiet through Saturday night. Tonight skies will be mostly clear with lows in the 40s..some 30s in colder spots. Then the weekend gets underway with lots of sunshine for Saturday and highs in the 50s to around 60. There might be a sea breeze Saturday for coastal areas in the mid to late afternoon, just in case you decide to give the beach a visit. Be sure to bring a jacket.

Sunday we begin to see weather conditions deteriorate somewhat but no rain is forecast. Clouds will be increasing Sunday with an onshore flow that develops. Highs will be in the 50s. Then it looks to me like we will see some on and off rain into Tuesday as a series of weak low pressure systems move along. This does not look like a big deal rain wise. It will make things rather damp and gloomy beginning Sunday night and lasting into Tuesday. The rainfall amounts forecast are nothing crazy at all. All models from GFS to the Euro model show about an inch of rain over 2 days. This should not be a big deal
