Weather Looks Quiet & Colder Next 5 Days
The weather has certainly calmed down now that the noreaster is gone. We see a cold front approaching us for Thursday and the satellite loop shows a very narrow band of clouds with some embedded showers that are crossing Pennsylvania. Those showers might get enhanced just a bit Thursday morning as the front goes by but it won’t be a be deal at all. Showers will be around for the morning commute and then they will be gone. The afternoon will feature increasing amounts of sun and a gusty wind.

Temperatures on Thursday will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s. The trend to colder temperatures will be a slow one as it will take a series of cold fronts to move through over the next 5 days to bring down the coldest air. That comes Sunday night into Monday night. However by cold we only mean temperatures perhaps going below average for a couple of days and it won’t do it by much. Precipitation will be virtually non existent unless we get a brief rain or snow shower as these weak fronts pass through. Temperatures Friday will top in the mid 40s. Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Sunday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 30s. Nights will eventually cool their way down into the 20s. No big storms are on the horizon through early next week at least. Enjoy the relative calm.
