Rain Moving East Improvement Later Today
We are seeing the enhancement of showers this morning with rain moving east and offshore before too long. Rain moving east and offshore should be completed shortly and we will see clouds giving way to some sunshine this afternoon especially in areas west of the coast. Temperatures will probably reach into the 50s in a few places before easing late this afternoon and tonight. The jet stream is beginning to reestablish itself from Canada which will mean a progression of colder air masses over the next 5 days.

Radars remain busy at the moment but we should see all of this come to end in the next few hours.
Temperatures over the next few days look to be trending lower. Weather conditions look dry at least through Monday. Weather models area showing a stronger disturbance diving southeastward from the Great Lakes Monday night.
At first glance it appeared over the last few days that there wouldn’t be any room for something to happen early next week. However looking at the NAM upper air with the disturbance coming down further west, it did raise my eyebrow a bit. I’m going to wait to see if there is a suggestion for something minor to happen Monday night or Tuesday with a bit of a low swinging in from the midwest and redeveloping off the coast to our southeast. Chances are it will be too flat for anything to happen, but lets watch and see how models handle this later today.
