The satellite and radars show the front is through and now look for increasing amounts of sunshine from north to south as the humidity drops into the 20 to 30 percent range this afternoon. Winds will pick up from the north and gust up to 25 to 30 mph. Add the dry tinder box we are in and you have the stage set for brush fires so please be cautious with anything flammable outdoors. A spark may be it all it takes to set a fire off.
Sunshine this afternoon will take highs from the 60s north to the middle 70s Southern New Jersey & Southeastern Pennsylvania. Skies will be clear tonight. Wednesday looks good with sunshine and highs in the cooler upper 50s to lower 60s but there is a fire risk again. Thursday we turn the winds around to the south. That might bring the humidity up enough with a wind off the ocean. Still we will have some sunshine with highs in the 60s to near 70..then the chance for showers on Friday.
