No changes in the forecast. There were some isolated thunderstorms running around last night over parts of the Hudson Valley into Southwestern Connecticut but other than that we just see a continuation of more of the same with sunshine during the day. The humidity has been coming up slowly. Monday and Tuesday look the most uncomfortable that point. Temperatures today will hit the lower 90s in most areas across Southeast NY, Connecticut and Long Island with temperatures a little cooler along shore locations with a southwest wind.
I supposed there could be an isolated thunderstorm each evening but they will be very few and very far between in most areas. The next important cold front is not going to come until late Thursday where the best chances for thunderstorms lie. Temperatures will turn a shade cooler but not much so beyond that. Highs will average in the lower 90s through Tuesday and nights will be in the 60s to near 70 in most places except in urban areas which will be mostly 70 to 75. Highs will average in the lower 90s except that on Monday some places could see readings closer to 95.
