With a developing wave offshore we saw clouds and rain linger for awhile and in some areas to the south across Southern New Jersey & Southeastern Pennsylvania the showers are going to linger for awhile longer. Drier air is gradually working its way southward. Clouds will begin to break apart this afternoon and we should go partly sunny at some point later this afternoon and evening from northwest to southeast. Temperatures are holding for the most part in the 60s to around 70 but cooler air will gradually work in tonight as lows head to the 40s with even some upper 30s in colder inland spots.

No changes in the forecast for Sunday. It looks to be mostly sunny with highs mainly in the 60s. The sea breeze will likely develop along coastal areas in the afternoon and evening as is usual for this time of year. Monday it will turn very warm again as low pressure goes by to our north along a frontal boundary.
A set up like this means partly sunny skies for Monday with highs in the 70s to around 80. Gradually that frontal boundary will sink southward on Tuesday and move through. We will start Tuesday with clouds and temperatures at least in the 60s and it will make the 70s early in some areas but then from south to north, rain will develop and temperatures will fall through the 50s and into the 40s by Tuesday evening. That boundary will make it all the way south the Virginia. There could be a good shot of rain with this area wide along with a few thunderstorms in the mix when the front moves southward.
