WEATHER CHILLING DOWN NEXT FEW DAYS
Satellite loop this morning shows us on the edge of the clouds but that cloud line is sliding to the east and I believe we should see some sunshine developing from west to east as we go through the day. Temperatures will not stray far from the 40 degree mark this afternoon as colder air (but not too cold) gradually sends the temperatures lows.
Radar shows we are done with showers as they are offshore but in the radar loop below we can see the beginnings of low pressure developing in the Eastern Gulf of Mexico. This low is going to make its way up the coast but all forecast models keep the low offshore. The bottom line is that there is no snow in the forecast until further notice. Thursday should be no worse than a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the 30s to around 40.
Once the storm goes by offshore a shot of colder air comes in for Friday and Saturday. There may be a few snow showers as the colder air arrives Friday. Highs Friday will be cold and won’t be out of the 30s.

Saturday morning will be very cold in many inland spots with lows down in the teens to near 10 in some places with clear skies and relatively light winds. We will moderate Saturday afternoon into the 40s and Sunday we will see clouds and temperatures in the 40s.

Long range the next storm is Great Lakes bound for next Wednesday. Models get to the same place in the end however some suggest that another cold front moves through Sunday and builds some colder air back in for Monday into Tuesday which will impact the temperature forecast. In the end a good soaking rain is coming late Tuesday night and Wednesday.
