Warmer Weather Late Week On Course
Regardless of what happens with the rain Tuesday and Tuesday night we remain on course for warmer temperatures for late in the week and into the weekend. There are still a few complications to consider regarding a weather front late Friday and where it sets up over the weekend. If most of the area remains south of the front, temperatures will be into the 80s both Saturday and Sunday. For Central & South Jersey and all of Southern Pennsylvania this seems to be a lock. Where it may be a bit questionable will be in areas near or just north or Northeast of NYC including Long Island, Connecticut & the Hudson Valley.

You can see on the Sunday map how the 80s are suppressed further south than on Saturday. This is due to the position of a backdoor cold front.
GFS MODEL SUNDAY MORNING
The front is forecast to eventually move back northward later Sunday or Sunday night. Then the next cold front approaches on Monday with some showers or thunderstorms late Monday or Monday night. Now there might be some scattered showers running around through all of this but I think much of the weekend should be okay weatherwise.
