Warm Again Showers Thunderstorms Thursday Evening
Now that the latest shot of cooler air has moved out we can start to warm things up. The warm up actually started yesterday as highs reached the upper 50s to near 60. Today we take up another 10 or so degrees with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s in most areas with a fair amount of sunshine though there will be some clouds around from time to time especially at night. This will keep temperatures up tonight in the 50s. Radars are quiet and calm and should remain so into Thursday afternoon.
Thursday looks to be very warm much like Sunday was with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s in many areas. This pretty much looks like a repeat performance of this past Sunday where it was very warm and the day ended with showers and thunderstorms.
In fact we do have a weather front that will move through late in the afternoon and evening but weather models are not especially impressive with rainfall amounts from this.
Once the front goes by it will turn windy and cooler Friday. It looks to be a chilly weekend into next week across the Northeast as cold air from Eastern Canada bleeds southward into the northeast. No rain is forecast Friday through Sunday. Highs each day Friday through Sunday will be in the 50s..night time lows will be in the 30s to lower 40s.
