WARM FRONT MOVING THROUGH
Satellite and radar show some downpours moving through the area and pushing to the northeast. Heavy rains are being produced over parts of Long Island & Connecticut but they should be ending from West to east soon. Then it’s warm and humid conditions for tonight and Sunday with temperatures reaching into the 80s everywhere.

There are no changes in the outlook for the next several days. A strong cold front arrives on Monday with an enhanced severe weather threat from Virginia to New England.
In the tropics there has been little change in the system in the Caribbean or the one in the far Eastern Atlantic. Weather models are focusing on the Central or Western Gulf Coast as a possible target should a tropical system develop. The strength of the ridge in the east and the one in the West will be deciding the track. The European Model has a stronger ridge profile which accounts for the more westerly track. It doesn’t appear that we have a set up in the east to bring any tropical storm remnants to us so for now this is of no concern to our area.
