Warm Front Brings Showers This Evening & Tonight
Another Shower or Thunderstorm Wednesday
Low Humidity Sunshine Delightful Weather Thursday Friday
We are starting the day off with clouds beginning to increase from the west as Saturday’s cold front that stalled to the south is now starting its march back northward as a warm front. Showers are developing ahead of it and we could see some showers and downpours show up on the radars late this afternoon and evening. It should reach the 70s to near 80 today as humidity levels begin to rise once again.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
Radars locally are quiet this morning for the most part but the regional radar is beginning to show increasing activity as the warm front makes its move toward us.
There will be some showers and downpours overnight. Wednesday will be warm and humid with another shower or thunderstorm as a cold front moves through. Highs will be in the 80s. Then the front moves through and we get the big pay off is high pressure comes in behind the front with a nice Canadian air mass for Thursday through Saturday. Humidity will be very low and we should see partly to mostly sunny skies into the weekend. Highs Thursday and Friday will be in the 70s and then back into the 80s on Saturday.
We will warm up Sunday into Monday in the 80s. Im wondering out loud whether 90 degree readings are possible but lately models have very much overdone temperatures so I’m going to just say highs in the 80s. Dew points will come up somewhat on Sunday but it should not be too unreasonable when it comes to humidity.
