TROPICAL STORM ERIKA CONTINUES WEST..MINIMAL STORM..NO WATCHES FOR FLORIDA AT THIS TIME

Erika this morning is a minimal tropical storm from the standpoint of wind however it has produced heavy rains across the Dominican Republic and that rain is now spreading westward. The threat to Southeast Florida has diminished considerably as the track further west has shifted the storm forecast even further into the Gulf of Mexico for early next week.nhcprog
