Thunderstorms Overnight Moving East Weather Improves PM
During the overnight some additional scattered downpours and thunderstorms fired up. This cold front is taking its time moving through this morning as we have lots of leftover clouds and a few leftover showers on the radar. Before too long we should see clouds break up and some sunshine should develop as the day wears on. Temperatures will probably be able to get back to the upper 60s and lower 70s for highs today. Skies should clear out tonight as dry air from the northwest begins to move in. Overnight temperatures will settle in the 40s to near 50.

Wednesday should be nice and sunny and Thursday looks to start with sunshine before clouds arrive later in the day. Then next weather system for the end of the week is a little slower on its track but rain should develop later Thursday night and we will see heavy rain on Friday on the order of an inch or two. Overnight weather models continue to show blocking going forward in the long term which means we could see showers over the weekend and into next week though it does not necessarily rain straight through.
