Thunderstorms Heading East Across Pennsylvania into New Jersey Hudson Valley
Thunderstorms have been developing rapidly across Pennsylvania and also a band has formed across the Hudson Valley this evening. We have already seen numerous severe thunderstorm warnings from these two areas and we will probably see more heading into this evening.
We have a severe thunderstorm watch up for parts our region covering the western counties of New Jersey that border the Pennsylvania state line from Warren County southward. The watch extends westward cover most of Eastern Pennsylvania south of Route 80 to the Maryland state line. It also includes Delaware. There is no watch up for the Hudson Valley in NY but we are seeing some severe thunderstorms on the radar there. No watches are up for Southern New England, the rest of New Jersey, and Long Island.
