The storm in the Great Lakes continues to sit there and rotate around and that is bringing some showers and even a few thunderstorms this evening. There have been some reports of pea size hail with some of these storms. However there is very little wind with them as a warm front is moving through the area. Look for a few heavy downpours but all the showers will be done before midnight in most areas and then skies will clear out behind the showers for the remainder of the night with lows in the 40s.

Thursday Saint Patrick’s day looks like will start with sunshine but finish the afternoon with some passing showers. Temperatures will be nice and warm with highs in the low to mid 60s. Then we start the process of turning colder on Friday with some sunshine and clouds and some late day showers again with temperatures into the 50s. This sets up very cold air due to arrive this weekend and yes, even though spring arrives Sunday, winter may have one last card to play regarding snow.
