Thunderstorms Done Warm Saturday Afternoon
Everything seems to be moving on schedule today with thunderstorms that moved across parts of the area earlier and are now long gone. Sunshine will gradually take hold for the rest of the day, There is one more area of showers in Southern Pennsylvania but that is forecast to die off in the next few hours.
Temperatures this afternoon will reach the 80s just about everywhere as the ocean sea breeze will be kept confined perhaps only to the beaches themselves.

This warmth comes to an end tonight as a “backdoor” front drops southward and winds shift to the east by Sunday morning. Sunday will be 20 degrees or more cooler with clouds and some breaks of sun. Also a passing shower or some coastal light rain or drizzle can’t be ruled out with highs just in the 50s to around 60 or so.
Monday we go back the other way ahead of a cold front so wind turn southwest and temperatures head back for the 60s and 70s. Showers and thunderstorms could be running around Monday night.
