Sunshine Returns While Noreaster Threat Grows
We are finally seeing improvement today as sunshine has returned. This may be the one full day of sun we get until sometime next week so it would be wise to make good use of it. The satellite loop is showing us in a clear patch but you can also begin to see the next weather system in the Lower Mississippi valley getting reading to send moisture up our way. Other than some occasional clouds we should be in good shape today and tonight as highs reach the upper 40s and lower 50s this afternoon and lows tonight will be in the upper 20s to mid 30s.
No issues forecast on the radar today or tonight. Friday we will see increasing clouds and there will be a weakening area of rain moving through here Friday night into Saturday morning. Afterwards it is calm and quiet until the noreaster begins to move up the coast on Sunday with deteriorating weather condition beginning late Sunday afternoon.

Weather models overnight are colder for areas of upstate NY and New England and open the door up to a significant elevation driven heavy snowfall for areas north of Route 84.
