Sunshine North Clouds South Humidity Returns Thursday
Sunshine North Clouds South Humidity Returns Thursday
Route 78 in New Jersey seems to be the dividing line this afternoon with clouds south of there and mainly sunny skies to the north. Where we are seeing lots of sunshine temperatures are into the 80s with reasonable humidity levels. Areas to the south are seeing some breaks of sunshine through the clouds with temperatures also in the 80s. There will be no issues regarding showers for the rest of today and for tonight. However we are going to see some changes for Thursday and Friday.

Clouds will be coming back later tonight and Thursday increasing from south to north. The wind will be mostly onshore so those two factors will hold temperatures down on Thursday. Most highs will be in the 70s to near 80. Areas to the north and east of New York City including the Hudson Valley, Long Island & Connecticitut might see some sun at the start of Thursday before clouds take over. Then later in the day into Thursday night some passing downpours will come into the mix. Temperatures will be in the 70s to near 80. Friday a cold front approaches so it will be warm and humid with the chance for thunderstorms later in the day. High should reach the 80s away from the ocean.
