Sunshine Next 4 Days But There is a Chill in the Air
No doubt the cold has been getting to many people. Also the lack of several sunny days in a row has been taxing as well. At least beginning Friday and lasting through Monday we should have no worse than partly sunny skies but there will be a chill in the air especially at night. High pressure is buiding in from Central Canada to the Great Lakes which is going to keep things dry but it will also keep things chilly especially at night.
FRIDAY MORNING FORECAST LOWS
Morning lows in the upper 20s to mid 30s will occur Saturday Sunday and probably Monday. This means that if you are going to spend the weekend cleaning up your yard or putting down some plants be sure to make sure they are not cold or frost sensitive.
The satellite picture this afternoon shows that improvement is not that far away with dry air to the west. We just have to work through the last of any showers that are going on in some areas. Skies will clear out overnight and Friday will be partly sunny but highs will just reach 50 to 55. We should be at least 10 degrees higher than this at this time of year.

Weather systems in the atmosphere are beginning to slow down and the blocky nature of the pattern will keep a storm moving across the south from rushing up here. A chilly but dry high keeps us protected into Tuesday.

Saturday’s highs should reach mid 50s to some lower 60s and Sunday we should see a larger area of upper 50s and lower 60s and a few places could push the envelope a little higher. Monday will make it 4 days with highs into the 60s before that southern storm system makes a turn and moves up the East Coast on Tuesday. Clouds will increase and rain could get here by late Tuesday afternoon or evening.

If they take longer to get here, they take longer to get out of the way so we may pay for those 4 days of nice weather with a few days of damp dismal weather later next week.
