Nice Stretch of Weather Begins Chilly Weekend Outlook
We can finally look ahead to 4 nice days of weather though from the standpoint of temperature it perhaps leaves a bit to be desired. We can see from the satellite picture this morning that low pressure is out to the east and dry air covers much of the East Coast back to the Great Lakes. Other than some patchy clouds that could pop up here and there it should be a nice though cool and breezy day with highs just into the low and mid 50s. At least the sun is out and we are not sitting under a low overcast wit a raw northeast wind.
US SATELLITE
REGIONAL RADAR
We can turn the radars off for awhile and give them a four day break. Over the next 3 days we can look forward to sunshine with a slight increase in temperatures each day. Nights will be clear and cold with lows in the 30s. Days will be nice with Saturday highs 55 to 60, Sunday’s highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s…and Monday’s highs will be 60 to 65. If you are thinking about getting the flowers down in the garden remember that the nights are still cold so make sure what you plant can take temperatures under 40 degrees and are not frost sensitive.
We may be able to stretch this into a 5th day on Tuesday but we will see sunshine give way to increasing clouds and rain is likely to come in Tuesday night and Wednesday as low pressure moves up the East Coast. This may lead to at least a few days of unsettled weather conditions later next week. At least we got 4 decent days to enjoy even if the best the temperatures can do is eventually had back toward average for a day or two.
