Some Showers Across NJ Sunday Dry NNJ Southern New England
Except for the southernmost counties in New Jersey we escaped showers today and most of the area spent in warm conditions with sunshine and high clouds. Now we have a frontal boundary setting up across Southern New Jersey westward into Southern Pennsylvania with a wave moving on the front Sunday and Sunday night. This is likely to produce some showers for parts of Central & Southern New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania but Northern New Jersey north and east across the Hudson Valley, Southern New England, NYC & Long Island should be dry but on the cloudy side with some breaks of sun possible the further north you go from the coast. The winds are going around to the east and temperatures on Sunday will be in the 60s along the coast and into the 70s inland.
EASTERN SATELLITE
The satellite picture shows clouds overhead now and they will be with us tonight but the radars fro now are basically free from any action. The thunderstorms this afternoon in Southern New Jersey have moved out to the east and are no longer any concern.
REGIONAL RADAR
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY

Monday morning the wave moves offshore taking any rain out to the east. It will be a close call for NYC & Long Island are concerned regarding any rain. Then weather conditions should improve on Monday with rain exiting Central & Southern New Jersey with decreasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 70s.
Tuesday looks like a good day with sunshine and highs in the 70s to near 80. Wednesday brings the next cold front with the chance for showers and highs in the 70s to near 80.
