Flood Watch Central South Jersey Southward, Dry Northward
The frontal boundary sets up today right acorss New Jersey with the southern half of the state under a flood watch which extends down into Delaware Maryland and Virginia. Northern New Jersey to Southern New England sits on the edge of clouds and rain and should fare much better today with not much in the way of showers today. In fact some brightening of skies could occur today with the clearing line not that far away.
EASTERN SATELLITE
Also not that far away is the rain which shows up on the regional and local radars today as that area moves southeastward. Look for rain this afternoon and tonight in the flood watch area with just the chance for a passing shower north of Route 195. Temperatures today will be just into the 70s at best and mostly 60s and the coast.
