Clouds Rain Shift South Weather Conditions Improve
This morning we see the northern edge of the rain shield cutting across Central & Southern New Jersey and the loops indicate that gradually shifting south. Also shifting southward slowly is the cloud cover that sits over us from Central New England southward. This is going to take a little longer for it to get out of the way but it should in due course as we move through this Monday. Decreasing clouds and increase sunshine is forecast for later today. Temperatures which are in the 50s to near 60. this morning should probably reach the upper 60s and lower 70s.
EASTERN SATELLITE
REGIONAL RADAR
The rain that is still on the radar this morning to the south is still producing a few moderate to occasionally heavy bands from Southern New Jersey southward but we should see this all off shore by midday.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
Tuesday should be a good day with some sunshine all the way around with highs in the 70s. Then the next warm front cold front combination arrive on Wednesday with clouds and the chance for shower with highs in the 70s. Dry air follows that for Thursday and Friday.
It looks as if things could attempt to warm up some for Father’s Day Weekend. High pressure is going to move offshore. It looks as if a bit of a ridge will start to build in the Eastern US this weekend which will bring warmer more humid conditions over time. For now it would seem we will see some sunshine this coming weekend with highs into the 80s and perhaps just a scattering of a few isolated showers or thunderstorms.
