Some Light Snow Overnight Into Tuesday Morning
Some Light Snow Overnight Into Tuesday Morning
Weak weather systems dot the weather maps today as high pressure to the north gives way to lower pressures passing off to our south. The upper air support for this is nothing to write home about and while we could see a bit of light snow overnight into Tuesday morning it should not amount to much and along the coast it will be mixed with a little rain as well. We can see clouds coming in from the west this morning after we bottomed in the 20s just about everywhere. Clouds will increase today and it will be another cold one with highs just back into the 40s.

Radars are picking up on the precipitation that is on the regional radar down in the Middle Atlantic States with the northern fringe of this into Delmarva and almost touching Southern New Jersey. I don’t expect much from this today. Late tonight as weak low pressure moves off the coast of the Carolinas the northern extension of this clips with with a bit of light snow into Tuesday. Tuesday will be cloudy and cold with a little light snow early or just some light rain or drizzle with highs back into the 40s. Perhaps some colder spots could see the ground whitened up or a bit more but not much more. Wednesday we should see clouds with some sun with most highs back in the 50s.
We are still working toward the idea of warm weather late week and to at least start the weekend. 70s are still on the table for Saturday at least away from the ocean as long as the wind direction and the amount of cloud cover behaves.
