Since we never really got into a solid heavy snow band, accumulations are mostly on cold surfaces and maybe lightly on some side roads. Not much is going on the main roads that I can see so travel this morning on your commute should be minimally inconvenienced.

From the satellite loops you can see this system is not terribly impressive and below on the regional radars, it looks like Eastern Connecticut and Southeast New England might pick up perhaps 4 to 6 inches from this. The southern end is beginning to taper off across New Jersey. This should all be winding down by 6 to 8 am from west to east. Then weather conditions will improve afterwards with developing sunshine so whatever accumulated most likely will be gone by this afternoon.

Today’s highs will be in the mid to upper 40s. Skies tonight will be clear with lows in the 30s..some 20s in cold spots. Then temperatures begin to warm Tuesday with sunshine and highs into the 50s. Wednesday looks good with sunshine and clouds and highs in the 60s. Thursday is a little tricky because a back door cold from will be just to our north and close. The warm side should be at least in the 60s but there may be cloud issues as well as wind direction will be key. I don’t think there will be shower issues to deal with. Friday we will see a front approach and then some showers could come into play later in the day or at night.
