Snow Showers Continue
We see snow showers going on this morning and the threat for snow showers are going to continue over the next 2 days. This upper air system is opening up or weakening as it lifts northeastward. However there is nice looking little short wave trough that swings through and there could be snow showers that produce bursts that leave a coating to an inch or so anywhere at anytime

To the west across the Great Lakes we have lots of clouds and there are bands of snow continuing to develop. Timing them will be next to impossible so watch the radars over the next 2 day.

Now as we move into the next 2 days, temperatures continue to trend lower and lower and we will not hit bottom until Sunday morning. For today highs will be in the 30s. Tonight’s lows will be in the teens. Thursday’s highs will only be in the 20s.
Snow Showers Continue HRRR TEMPERATURES THURSDAY MORNING
The Arctic air will arrive late Friday night, early Saturday morning. There could be some snow showers with the arrival of the air mass and then Saturday we will being a brutal plunge with temperatures near 20 in the morning and in the single digits to near zero by midnight. Temperatures will be falling all day. I think a large portion of the area will be below zero on Sunday.
