Snow Monday Night Into Tuesday National Weather Service Snow Forecast 03/12-13/2018
This morning’s forecast have not changed very much from yesterday’s round of first calls. Overnight model runs after shifting a bit to the east have now shifted back to the west. This back and forth is likely to continue today but the bottom line is that we have a storm coming up the coast and it will have some impacts here Monday night into Tuesday morning. The biggest impacts will be for coastal areas this time around vs inland areas.
GFS PRECIPITATION FORECAST
The back edge of 1/2 inch of liquid is right along the coast and I think this would probably be the western edge of 2 to 4 inches. The bulk of the snow falls overnight into Tuesday morning so we will see accumulations of another wet snow with temperatures close to 32. If it snows hard enough, it sticks.
