Showers Into Early Afternoon Temps Rise Showers Again Later Monday
We have a warm front that is moving through the area this morning and a cold front that is advancing from the west. The warm front should go by but the cold front likely gets hung up to our west. The result is showers that we see on the radar There are some breaks between bands so look for the risk for showers nito this afternoon. Afterwards we are seeing large breaks in the cloud cover to the west and we might see some breaks of sun later this afternoon as highs reach into the 70s in many areas though east of NYC it will be in the 60s and 50s along south facing shorelines.. Some stations could see record highs.

WEATHER RADAR
A warm night lies ahead with lows in the mid 40s to lower 50s with clouds around an patchy fog. Monday look for cloudy skies and some showers will develop later in the day. It will be another very warm day across much of Pennsylvania and New Jersey with highs in the 70s while to the north and east it will be in the 50s & 60s.
We will see showers and some heavier downpours Monday night into Tuesday morning followed by improving weather conditions on Tuesday. Developing sunshine and a gusty wind will lead to cooler highs in the mid 40s to around or just over 50 degrees.
Several waves of low pressure will be passing to the south of us with one on Wednesday. Another follows later Thursday and a third is setting up for Saturday. The wave for Wednesday and late Thursday will bring rain as close as Southern New Jersey. The last wave for Saturday is going to couple with an arctic boundary moving eastward. That wave will depend on the upper air set up and how sharp the approaching upper trough will be. This is a long range issue and models continue to jump around on this issue. We will be discussing this today on the Joe & Joe Weather Show at 11am Eastern Time and you can also watch it on replay later today if you can’t make the live show.
