Showers Approach Milder Temperatures
Onshore Flow Wednesday Through Friday
The cold air from the weekend pulled out pretty quick and on schedule last night and now as warmer air comes in so does the next weather system. Showers have been for the most part on the light side and the bulk have been going by to the north. However there have been a few running around so watch for one or two of them to go by. Much of the time today we should be shower free. Temperatures will be in the 50s for the most part except near the ocean where the wind off the water will keep it in the 40s.

Showers will become more numerous tonight into Tuesday as a cold front moves through. The front will pass through before noontime in most areas and temeperatures will settle back into the 40s during the afternoon. We should dry out from west to east Tuesday afternoon and evening. Then clouds and some sun for Wednesday as high pressure builds down from the north. Temperatures Wednesday will be in the low to mid 50s except 40s near the shore. A northeast wind will be in charge for much of the rest of the week which keeps temperatures below normal. For now we will lean on the idea that the rest of the week could be dry in spite of the onshore flow. This could change and does not mean that we wont see some occasional periods of low clouds and perhaps even some drizzle and fog in the Thursday through Saturday time frame. Rainfall amounts over the next 2 days will be in the .50 inch or so range.
