Record Highs Thunderstorms Late Week
Record Highs Thunderstorms Late Week
We are entering a time of year where the weather tends to get more volatile so if it turns out that we see record highs on Thursday followed by strong thunderstorms on Saturday followed by accumulating snow next week, don’t be surprised. Volatility like this happens all the time. We just saw it happen a week and a half ago when we went from 60s to blizzard conditions in 36 hours. I’m not suggesting that is going to happen again but be surprised at nothing over the next several weeks.
Tonight we see skies clear across the area and we will be heading down into the 20s and lower 30s. Clouds to the west will take their time getting here thanks to high pressure both at the surface and aloft in Southeastern Canada deflecting moisture more north than east.

REGIONAL RADAR
Tuesday we should see sunshine give way to some clouds. A wind off the ocean will keep temperatures in the 40s along the coast but it could make the 50s inland. Wednesday warmer air starts to move in as winds go more southwest and then eventually more westerly on Thursday. Thursday is the day when record highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s are possible.
With all this warm air, we have an approaching cold front on Saturday and it could be an early season setup for strong thunderstorms especially away from the ocean. Some showers are possible Friday before we get into the warm sector on Saturday.
After this system goes by it will turn colder into next week. Fasten your seat belts. February goes out and March comes in like a lion as a very active weather pattern develops. JOESTRADAMUS has more on this.

It is a complete weather app to suit your forecast needs. All the weather information you need is right on your phone. Android or I-phone, use it to keep track of all the latest weather information and forecasts. This weather app is also free of advertising so you don’t have to worry about security issues with your device. An accurate forecast and no worries that your device is being compromised.
Use it in conjunction with my website and my facebook and twitter and you have complete weather coverage of all the latest weather and the long range outlook. The website has been redone and upgraded. Its easy to use and everything is archived so you can see how well Joe does or doesn’t do when it comes to forecasts and outlooks.
