Record High Temperatures Possible Tuesday
What a day we had today with plenty of sunshine and just some high clouds coming through from time to time. Temperatures away from the ocean reached the upper 70s to lower 80s. Newark New Jersey hit 82 today which tide the record high. Wednesday we could be setting up for record highs in some areas. The targets along the coast are low thanks to the ocean wind and that could be a limiting factor as far as how high temperatures get.
RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES TUESDAY’S FORECAST HIGHS
The satellite loop this evening shows some passing high clouds nearby but much of the heavier cloud cover is to the north and west is moving northeastward into Southeastern Canada. That is the next cold front which won’t arrive here until Wednesday and it should be weak when it passes through.

Wednesday’s highs will still reach the 70s in many areas before the front passes. Then cooler air comes in for Thursday through Saturday with some sunshine each day and no rain in the forecast until perhaps late in the day on Easter Sunday.
