Rain At Least Into Monday Afternoon
You can see on the satellite loop the stream of tropical mositure that is moving northward. Rain is separating from the circulation of what is left of Tropical Storm Bonnie. We also have a cold front moving in from the west to squeeze out every last drop it can. We think it rains through Monday morning for sure and then starts to taper off during the afternoon from west to east but we have to watch carefully if the front slows down somewhat. That could keep the rain in through the afternoon. Hopefully it doesn’t so afternoon barbecues can at least be attempted. Fingers are crossed for this.
Rain Moving To NYC Regional Radar
Coverage on the regional radar is impressive enough as the initial burst tracks west of the coast. The eastern areas should fill in somewhat after midnight. We see rain moving to NYC on the local radar views.

Forecast rainfall amounts are fairly generous in the 1 to 2 inch range. If it’s going to rain let it verify because conditions are so dry especially in parts of New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and Southeast NY.

Weather conditions should begin to improve on Tuesday with some sunshine and highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Much of the rest of the week we should be in the 70s before the next cold front arrives late this week.
