Rain Gives Way to Wind Later Today
Radar and satellite pictures this morning show moisture moving through as low pressure pushes across the Eastern Great Lakes this morning. Mositure has been pulled up from the south. The onshore flow that set up yesterday remains difficult to dislodge however once this front passes through around midday, winds will shift to the west and then become strong and gusty this afternoon and tonight. Initially temperatures will probably rise into the 50s and 60s for a brief time this afternoon. Then it turns much colder tonight with clearing skies. Lows overnight will be in the 30s.

You have a very busy radar this morning and local radars show rain. Some heavier showers are embedded in the rain area. Rainfall amounts will be on the order of a quarter to a half an inch total. Highest amounts of rain will probably fall in areas from Southern New England eastward.

Tuesday and Wednesday look good with sunshine both days. Temperatures will be cool however with highs just in the 50s. Thursday the next cold front approaches with sunshine giving way to arriving clouds with highs in the 60s. Then its showers on Friday before very cold air comes in for the weekend.
