Moderating Temperatures Rain Chance Monday
Moderating temperatures will be the story for this afternoon with sunshine and high clouds. We are waiting for a weak weather system to move eastward from the Ohio Valley and you can see clouds with that swinging eastward this afternoon but this should not be a big bother to us. Temperatures which had a bit of a cold start this morning will be heading to the upper 40s to perhaps near 50 in a few spots. That is still below average for this time of year.

As the Ohio Valley system approaches clouds will increase overnight with temperatures holding in the 30s to lower 40s. Monday morning some light precipitation will break out and since the air is still rather cold and dry a bit of sleet or even a few wet snowflakes at the start can’t be ruled out. Overall it is a cloudy Monday with some light rain and temperatures probably holding in the 40s. We should see some sunshine for both Tuesday and Wednesday with highs both days back into the 50s.
The next chance for any important rain shower activity will probably be on Saturday as a cold front moves through followed by a shot of colder air behind the front to start of Thanksgiving week.
