Weather Conditions Improve Later Today
We are starting the day with low pressure developing offshore and we see the prospects of improving weather conditions later today. But as the surface map above shows this morning, along the coast it is rather windy this morning with northeast winds 20 to 30 knots and there have been gusts to 50 kts or higher offshore this morning. Rain is straddling the coast but it will be pulling away to the east as will the radar echos. Weather conditions could actually improve from the stand point of cloud cover later today as dry air starts to work its way southward. Rain won’t be an issue today but we will have to wait for clouds to break apart Temperatures this morning are in the 60s and we will stay in the 60s until clouds break up.

Radar rtrends show the rain exiting to the east. If skies to clear out in time late today they will tonight and Sunday looks good with mostly sunny skies low humidity and highs in the 70s. Monday looks sunny and nice with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Then warmer and more humid air arrives for Tuesday through Thursday with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 Tuesday and upper 80s to lower 90s Wednesday and Thursday.
