HIGH WIND WATCH LATE TONIGHT INTO MONDAY AFTERNOON..WIND GUSTS 50-60 MPH
With a major storm developing off the New England coast east northeast of Cape Cod the next problem and probably the biggest issue from this storm for our area will be high winds. The satellite loop shows the storm beginning to develop off the New Jersey coast. Precipitation is gradually ending from west to east and it will all shift into the rest of New England. Other than some leftover snow and rain along the coast going into this evening weather conditions will slowly begin to improve. Temperatures inland remain below freezing which is going to be problematic with respect to icing issues though temperatures are not going to fall off the wall below freezing. However we will see readings drop into the 20s in many areas so icing or refreezing will be a concern.

Radar shows the bulk of the precipitation beginning to move away to the east. Winds will begin to pick up late tonight and the strongest winds will be Monday morning into Mid Monday afternoon and then they should very slowly begin to drop off Monday night into Tuesday morning. Temperatures on Monday will be mostly in the 30s.
