Heatwave Begins Sunday Ends Tuesday
The well advertised heatwave begins Sunday and it will last 3 days ending on Tuesday when a backdoor cold front cuts it off. The very warm air will settle in on Sunday with highs reaching 90 or better in most areas including near the shore.
Sunday we will see plenty of sunshine and no thunderstorms or even showers of any kind. Clouds will be few and far between as well. Humidity levels on Sunday will not be that high so it will be all the heat you feel without the discomfort of humidity. This is typical of June hot air masses as tropical humidity usually doesn’t get involved until we are deeper into the summer.

,Monday and Tuesday will be hot and more humid each day. Highs will be in the 90s. By late Tuesday with the arriving cold front from the north there could be some late day scattered thunderstorms. The back door front sinks southward so Wednesday and Thursday will be noticeably cooler.
HEATWAVE ENDS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY..FORECAST HIGH TEMPERATURES
Winds will go northeast and east on Wednesday and southeast on Thursday. The probablity of clouds increases on Thursday with a warm front to our south but for now no mention of showers are in the forecast. Those may come into the picture Friday and next weekend.
