Heat Humidity Monday Lower Humidity Tuesday
We are finally here a the one hot humid day that we will be seeing from this current round of weather pattern adjustment. Once of the interesting things that has occurred over the last several days has been the backing off from some of the extreme temperatures begins shown by models a few days ago. This is rather an interesting development since for a long time reality seem to play out higher and hotter than weather model forecasts. Along coastal areas the wind is already bending more southerly so that tends to hold temperatures down. We will still reach the 90s and I think 90 to 95 is probably a fair assessment for highs today with the high end for the usual hot spots. We should see sunshine for most of the day. I am leaning away from the idea of a late afternoon or evening pop of thunderstorm and going for a better chance overnight when the cold front to the north comes through in the early morning hours. Clouds continue to stream eastward along the Canadian border and the weather front to the north should start moving southward later today.

Tonight brings a cold front southward and this could trigger off some thunderstorms overnight. Weather models seem to be developing a few stronger cells as the front drops southward. Usually at night the wind off the ocean tends to relax and will probably go westerly. This should supportive for thunderstorms to hold together though the Storm Prediction Center has the severe weather risk inland and north.
Once the front passes we will see humidity levels go down on Tuesday with clouds giving way to sunshine. It will be very warm though and some highs could reach 90 or so but it will be much more comfortable. Wednesday looks to be dry with some sunshine and arriving clouds and highs into the 80s. The front stalling to our south will likely bring a wave along and the chance for showers Wednesday night into Thursday morning before weather conditions improve after that.
