Fathers Day Spectacular Sunday Sunshine
Heat Humidity Monday
Saturday was a winner of a day and today will be no different. We have mainly clear skies on the satellite loop. When you watch the motion of the clouds you are basically seeing the top of the upper ridge as what few clouds you are seeing are sinking southward. Temperatures are starting off warm and we will finish up in the 80s to near 90 degrees with lower readings along the shore when the sea breeze develops during the afternoon. It could not be better for Fathers Day. No showers..no thunderstorms…just sunshine and a great day for the beach, pool, fishing, golf or anything else dad wants to do.
EASTERN SATELLITE
REGIONAL RADAR
Monday will be a brutally hot and humid with highs reaching the middle 90s. There won’t be much relief at the shore with a west wind all day. There is the chance for a late day pop up thunderstorm in one or two spots but most will not see one.
A cold front will be putting an end to the heat on Tuesday as it moves through Tuesday with the chance for a shower or thunderstorm early otherwise some sunshine with lower humidity and highs in the 80s. The weather pattern is such where weather fronts are still going to try and move through every couple of days so long duration hear and humidity (of more than 2 or 3 days) won’t be able to develop in our area. Wednesday looks like a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low to mid 80s. Another secondary front come through Wednesday night and there could be some showers and thunderstorms with that system. The end of next week finishes nice and dry.
